I also love forming and deeply texturing metal. A sheet of metal can be dramatically transformed by forging, chasing, stamping, acid-etching, piercing and the hydraulic press. The ability of metal to seemingly “freeze” motion, such as the flutter of a scarf’s fringe, fascinates me.
